The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA), established under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, mandates transparency, accountability, and timely disclosures in real estate projects. Developers and promoters are required to register eligible projects and comply with ongoing disclosure, financial reporting, and audit obligations under the Act.
